Aged Care Optimisation
Optimising performance and profitability in Aged Care is about knowing your key value drivers, knowing how well each facility is performing against these value drivers; and helping teams to plan, deliver and measure actions to improve their own performance.
Our performance and profit optimisation program - ScoreTrak® for Aged Care - enables Aged Care providers' to:
- identify their value drivers, risks and goals
- agree measures and targets for their value drivers, risks and goals
- make visible - to ALL staff - the degree to which facilities are managing to achieve their targets
- agree corrective actions and milestones to achieve targets and then track these through
- clarify and enact accountabilities
- recognise and reward results achievement
- recognise and act on poor or sub-optimal performance
- learn and apply proven problem solving methodologies
- document and demonstrate continuous improvement and performance monitoring for accreditation purposes
- benchmark across facilities
The ultimate success of this program is the degree to which you continually improve performance and profitability once the program is embedded. One acute care client recently improved EBITDA% by 43.8% in 2009. This required engaged staff and simple processes for staff to identify opportunities and ideas for improvement and track them through to implementation.
Several Aged Care providers have remarked that ScoreTrak® will ensure that quality is continually improving and that key areas of their business are being monitored. With ScoreTrak® this information can be readily available when accreditation assessors visit.
We are now implementing ScoreTrak® for Aged Care into several Aged Care providers in 2010.
